Jimmy Obleda Awarded NSCAA Youth National Coach of the Year

Rangers' Director Jimmy Obleda Awarded NSCAA National Coach of the Year

At their annual convention in Kansas City, Mo., the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) awarded Fullerton Rangers' Director of Player Development Jimmy Obleda as the National Youth Coach of the Year. Coach Obleda previously earned the NSCAA Western Region Youth Coach of the Year, with the National award being announced at the NSCAA annual convention awards ceremony. The award caps off a dream year for Coach Obleda, one that included a Dallas Cup championship, Western Regional Championship, and a National Championship with his B96 White Fullerton Rangers team.

Rangers G01 White - Finalist in CSL League Cup

The Rangers G01 White just capped off 2011 with a trip to the finals of the CSL League Cup.  The Rangers met the Camarillo Eagles in an exciting, back-and-forth, intense final.  Final score was 6-4 in favor of the Eagles.

U9 Lady Rangers - League Cup Finalists!!!

In a regional tournament that had more than 55 teams enter, our Girls 2002 Fullerton Rangers White team made it to the Championship Finals in CSL League Cup play this past weekend!

Fullerton Rangers Join National Premier League

The Fullerton Rangers were recently invited to join the Southern California National Premier League.  The new SCNPL will have the Rangers playing some of the top clubs in Southern California and Nevada with an opportunity to qualify for a National Championship in Chicago.  Most importantly, this league will be another opportunity for all of our players to continue to develop in a more challenging environment.  "This is just another piece of the puzzle that we feel will continue to allow our players to grow and become more successful on the soccer fields...We are very excited about this"...said DOC Jimmy Obleda.

2011 National Champions

The Rangers BU14 were the last of over one thousand teams standing to capture the US Youth Soccer National Championships. The Rangers beat Chicago Magic 1-0 to cap an unbeaten and unswore upon week, winning four games with a goal differential of 10-0. Congratulations to the players, parents, head coach Jimmy Obleda, assistant coach Kenny Castellanos, and manager David Smith
