Fullerton Rangers Alumni Carolyn Greco was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America team. Greco earned Third Team honors after a stellar senior year at Sonoma State University in which the Seawolves recorded their first NCAA win since 1998.

Along with her All- America honors, she was also named to the 2015 NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (CCA) All-West Region First Team. This is the second All-West Region honor for Greco, who earned Second Team recognition in 2012.

Greco was the anchor of the second-best defense in all of Division II this season, helping the Seawolves to post a 0.28 goals against average, allowing just five goals in 17 games. She added a goal and an assist during the Seawolves' record-breaking year.

For her individual efforts this season, the Sonoma State University senior defender was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women's Soccer Defender of the Year. She is the first student-athlete in program history to earn conference Defender of the Year accolades.  Greco shared a stifling backline of defense that shutout their opponents 13 times this season.  In fact, in 12 conference games, Sonoma State allowed just three goals, an average of 0.24 with nine shutouts.

The Fullerton High School graduate finishes her career at Sonoma State having started 56 games and logging over 3584 minutes.

Greco credits much of her success to the training and development she received while she was a part of the Fullerton Rangers. After finishing up at Sonoma State she hopes to continue playing soccer at the next level.
