Fullerton Rangers Alumni Receives All-America Award at NSCAA

Rebecca Wilson was presented with her NSCAA All-America award at the 2016 NSCAA Convention in Baltimore, Md., Billed as "The World's Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches," each year the NSCAA Convention draws approximately 4,000 coaches from our 30,000-plus members, and more than 10,000 attendees over five days for live field demonstration and lecture sessions, networking socials, coaching diplomas and much more.

Rebecca Wilson was presented with her NSCAA All-America award at the 2016 NSCAA Convention in Baltimore, Md., Billed as "The World's Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches," each year the NSCAA Convention draws approximately 4,000 coaches from our 30,000-plus members, and more than 10,000 attendees over five days for live field demonstration and lecture sessions, networking socials, coaching diplomas and much more.
 
Wilson was presented with her award at the All-America Luncheon Program that she attended. The luncheon featured a graduation style presentation of the award winners on stage.  Players were introduced, crossed the stage and were congratulated by an array of soccer celebrities for their efforts on their collegiate season. Wilson was one of 13 players named to the All-American First Team.
 
In addition to her All-American award, Wilson was a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and named to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America) All-West Region First Team, This is the first time Wilson has been awarded the All-America distinction.
She is coming off a stellar senior season at Cal State Fullerton in which she complied a team- and Big West Conference-leading 19 goals, 10 assists and 48 total points.
 
During the 2015 season, the Placentia, Calif., native set a school record with 10 game-winning goals to lead the NCAA. She was named Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second time in a row and also garnered her second-straight Big West Conference First Team nomination.
 
The former Fullerton Ranger standout finished her collegiate career with a total of 34 goals to rank third in the CSUF record book.
