Orthopedic Surgury


The newest physician to join First Choice Physician Partners is Bob Yin, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, hip, and elbow. Dr. Yin has extensive experience in the non-surgical and surgical treatment of knee meniscus and ACL injuries, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, and hip injuries. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Yin graduated with honors from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed medical school at Columbia University College of physicians and Surgeons (Alpha Omega Alpha). He stayed at Columbia University Medical Center to complete his residency in orthopaedic surgery and then went on to pursue sub-specialty training in sports medicine at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic for the professional athlete in Los Angeles. During his fellowship, Dr. Yin served as an assistant team physician to the LA Dodgers, LA Lakers, LA Kings, and other local professional and collegiate teams.
