To all Coaches, Players, Parents, Families and Friends of the Fullerton Rangers,
It is with great pleasure and satisfaction to announce that Cal South, Fullerton Rangers, and the City of Fullerton, inclusively have lifted the activities suspension effective June 12, 2020. We are extremely thankful to all the task force committees involved in the development and implementation of return-to-play guidelines. These guidelines provide Fullerton Rangers the ability to move into phase 1 (individual drills/practice) activities, after a 3 month safer-at-home phase 0, with a gradual increase into phase 2 (scrimmages), phase 3 (team training), and lastly phase 4 (competition).
Fullerton Rangers competitive teams will resume practices effective June 15, 2020. Competitive teams’ staff coaches, team managers, players, and families will set the standard of excellence being one of the first youth soccer organizations in Orange County to return-to-play so quickly with metrics outlined to keep everyone safe as they navigate the distinct sets of phases. Limited spots are still available for players born 2013-2005 – register your interest here.
Fullerton Rangers signature tryouts were unfortunately delayed in early March due to weather and were tentatively rescheduled at the end of June. Unfortunately a difficult decision had to be made to cancel open tryouts this year given the limited preparation time. In the event that Cal South does not provide confirmation of the Signature League by June 19, 2020, 2019 fall teams will be provided the opportunity to participate in the competitive CSL (Coast Soccer League) this fall season. We encourage all those that registered for open tryouts in March to register for our recreational league to secure a place to continue to develop your skills. Questions can be directed to email@example.com.
Fullerton Rangers recreational registration is currently open, with late registration beginning July 4, 2020. Teams are expected to return-to-play in August with practices as early as August 3, 2020. Modifications have been made to the recreational season, which can be found on the registration information page. As a volunteer operated level of play, we are always looking for Head Coaches to ensure that all players are provided the opportunity to participate – without your support we would be unable to continue our 55th season as one of the North Orange County’s most successful soccer programs. Questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
